I was planning a basement apartment for myself so that my family could move in upstairs. Being able to still see the garden was important to me and I envisioned an attractive walk-out from French doors to a small patio area with terraced retaining walls and steps leading to the garden. I wanted the walls built of flagstone, but none of the contractors I met with thought that this was practical or doable in my space. I was about to give up when I met David, who took the time to listen and understand my vision. He and his team made it a reality, even digging the walk-out and bringing the stone in manually so that my garden wouldn’t be damaged by heavy equipment. The result was beyond my expectations - my basement has been transformed into a ‘garden room’ and looking at the beautiful flagstone walls, now planted with trailing greenery, makes me happy every day. Friends have not only admired it but some have hired David and his team for their own projects and been equally impressed with the results.
